• Local Data: When you mark a recipe as a "Favorite," this information is stored locally on your device using a Room database. This data never leaves your device.

2. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• TheMealDB API: Used to fetch recipe data. They receive standard network requests (IP address).
• Coil: Used for image loading. Images are cached locally to save data.
• YouTube: When you click "Watch on YouTube," you are directed to YouTube's platform which is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data processed by the app. Since your favorites are stored locally, the security of that data depends on your device's security.

4. Children's Privacy

KitchenQuest does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided such information, please contact us immediately.
